While a student, he worked in close cooperation with Professor Dr. Wittig, former CEO and co-founder of MOLOGEN AG. With a Ph.D. in biochemistry, Dr. Matthias Schroff first worked as a leading scientist, before moving into management. Since 2005, he has been a member of the Board of Directors.

As of January 1, 2008, Dr. Schroff was appointed as CEO at MOLOGEN AG and is responsible for Research and Development, Strategy and Partnering.

His detailed knowledge about business at MOLOGEN AG is combined with extensive expertise in designing industry-specific contracts. In addition, he has many years of experience in accounting and extensive knowledge on capital market regulations.

Jörg Petraß has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007 and is responsible for Finances, Investor Relations, Administration and Human Resources.
