MOLOGEN closes License Agreement with Major Animal Health Company on MIDGE-based Vaccine for Companion Animal Application
MOLOGEN AG (ISIN DE0006637200) has finalized a research and development, collaboration and license agreement with one of the top 10 animal health companies. The company is a division of a large, global human pharmaceutical company based in the United States. The agreement governs final clinical development, licensing, and marketing of MOLOGEN's MIDGE-based vaccine against Leishmaniasis for a companion animal application. It is agreed to keep in confidence further contract details. According to the agreement, MOLOGEN will receive from the veterinary pharmaceutical company an initial payment upon execution of the agreement, future payments for milestones achieved, and a royalty on sales. Marketing of the MIDGE vaccine will initially target European markets where Leishmaniasis is a widespread disease in companion animals.
