Dr. Ing. Hans-Hermann Singer is a new member of the supervisory board of Mologen Holding AG, Berlin. He was elected as a substitute member of the supervisory board at the general sharholder meeting of June 22, 1999. He succeeds Mr. Berndt Wittjen, who resigned his mandate because he retires.

Dr. Singer, Hamburg, is a graduate physicist and computer scientist and works since 1987 as a senior consultant in the areas of IT and strategic consulting as well for industry as for banks and insurance companies.

Mologen went public in 1998 as one of the first biotechnology companies in Germany. The shares of Mologen are being traded in the Regulated Market on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Mologen develops and utilizes new gene-based technologies for preventing and curing diseases. The main focus of development is on the MIDGE technology, which has been patented by Mologen. This is the ideal tool for deploying genetic information safely and efficiently as a medicine.
